I can sort of understand the lack of pt-pt/pt-br on text-heavy games but the lighter ones should definitely have portuguese language at this time

Console usually doesn't include handhelds.

Woahhh that's such good news to hear. As a Portuguese person myself (though living in UK), I remember going to visit Portugal every Summer when I was younger and almost everyone I knew had a Wii. So to think that the Switch has sold more than the Wii is quite mid-boggling especially cos it was Sonylandia for so long.
