Do you feel like me, that going FPS is gonna halve the sales potential? (or game pass engagement or whatever)
There is a significant amount of players who want an Uncharted-inspired Indiana Jones game. Tomb Raider became a massive success by going that route.
Xbox had a chance to have its very own Uncharted trilogy here.
The studio must do what it believes in and what they are best at, but I feel like Machine Games is missing the point of why people wanted an Indiana Jones game. They wanted it because they envisioned it as an Uncharted/Tomb Raider game with a whip.
Imagine making Call of Duty a third-person shooter, it might be fantastic, but it would completely miss the point of what the market wants.
