Update April 28: Working in more markets! Right now I've seen Canada, Brazil, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Mexico.

This looks to be US only at the moment. As this is a new feature it most likely is either in rollout status and won't reach everyone immediately or is some A/B testing.

On Desktop Edge, I get "past month" and on Mobile Chrome I get "past week". Unknown how to change this.

Past month refers to a moving 30 days, so it isn't tied to any specific time frame like the 1st of the month.

There used to be a weekly sales update that also was a moving 7 days tracker.

Certain items will have Views instead, which doesn't inherently mean a certain amount sold.

xbox is really floundering does phil have a plan? maybe there is a massive sku revamp and relaunch coming in september or something, but as of now there is nothing.

i hope phil is not so silly to just be thinking something like "nothing to do but wait for Starfield" cus that wont work. software rarely directly buffs hardware greatly.

anyways cool beans but as physical only, a bit limited to meaning regarding software obviously. but these days any hard data must be treasured.

also, i remember amazon was basically limited on ps4 stock the entire last gen. basically console hardware stock fluctuations are going to be the norm at amazon, at all times. but still great!

If you look at Minecraft (European Edition) and Minecraft you'll see the former is by Mojang while the later is by Microsoft. Amazon is a handy way to see who is the distributor for what in each region, although there are some incorrect third party listings.

I had been checking my numbers through the mobile app and I can no longer see them either. Not surprised, but disappointed.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted (3 days, lol).

What's most disappointing is the apparent lengths the industry will go to obfuscate and hide data.

Amazon ruins everything they touch. IMDB and Box office mojo for example.

So it seems like they wiped sales on everything except 3rd party sellers / small business. It's actually not games specific, hopefully they come back.

Well hey, if it never comes back we at least have a great range to work with for the next couple of months. Sales should be going down or at best, steady.
 
I didn't say anything for not sound pessimistic, but I don't expected this level of information to remain public. It's too much.

At least it was fun for a while.
 
This feature was Amazon wide, it wasn't only for video games. In the end all of Amazon's A/B tests are meant to test the following: will this or that feature increase sales.

If this feature is indeed being discontinued (as it seems), it is because it hasn't increased sales.

I can see the monthly's through the Amazon mobile app. I won't be able to compile all of them for a bit, unfortunately. A quick search shows the Zelda OLED at 40k+, TotK at 100k+ and Advanced Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp at 4k+.

On the app just search for an item. It'll pull up a listing of all items similar to what you searched.

Switch looks red hot. The Zelda OLED was +20K in March, so that would bring April up +89K minimum. Amazon will probably be +100K for all of April with the Zelda OLED preorders.

Tears of the Kingdom sold 130K+ from March + April preorders alone, while its Collector's Edition sold an additional 10K+ in April. If we add sales from prior months, I'd guess it that it has accumlated 200K+ in preorders on Amazon alone. The game is still 2+ weeks away.

This launch will be huge even by blockbuster standards.

Globally I think this will be the biggest launch since GTA V.

And Apr NPD for Switch seems like it has crazy potential. The ZOLED is at ~60K without this week counted in just pre-orders on Amazon alone, which means within Apr NPD, Amazon by itself could account for close to 100K ZOLEDs. We must be looking at a run at Switch's 2020 April mark.
