IMO, it’s pretty damn great. Gave it high marks in my review.

The story isn’t half as bad as I’d heard. Mind you, it isn’t good. It just isn’t… insufferable.

Battle system is fantastic.

It's been a while since I made an update here. These are games I got from November last year to early February of this year. This may probably be my last Switch buying spree (this year so far I only plan on getting Xenoblade X and The Hundred Line), not only because the succesor is close, but because of recent Nintendo updated policies I'll probably return partially to PC gaming. Still gonna main the next console because I love physical games, though. There's also some games from older consoles that I found in local stores and a big surprising find that left me in red numbers temporally lol. A couple I already had digitally, but wanted to secure physical copies.

List of games:

- Tokyo Psychodemic (Switch, came with a soundtrack)
- ONE. (Switch)
- Mary Skelter 2 (Switch)
- Tokyo Xanadu eX+ (Switch)
- Princess Maker 2 Regeneration (Switch)
- Yurukill: The Calumniation Games (Switch)
- Shinjuku Soumei (Switch)
- Himitsu no AiPri: Atsumete! Secret Memories (Switch)
- CLANNAD (Switch)
- CLANNAD Side Stories (Switch)
- Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life (Switch)
- Senran Kagura Reflexions (Switch)
- Tokyo Clanpool Limited Edition (Switch)
- Kamaitachi no Yoru (PS1)
- The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces (Wii)
- Sakura Wars: In Hot Blood (PS2)
- Doukyuusei 2 - Extra Box (PS1; this was the one that I never expected to found here, includes 12 figures of characters from the game)

got the xbox elite core 2 controller or whatever its called. mainly wanted to brag about the deal. it was on sale for 95 and after some various discounts i paid like 75 plus tax (i think 81.xx altogether). almost the price of a normal dualsense lol.

it doesnt come with different stick or paddles which come in a separate kit (dont understand why ms did this, it's just confusing/not befitting a premium product, but otoh enjoying my cheap deluxe controller lol), but i believe you can get that on amazon for about 30, from afaik a third party manufacturer but i'm sure quality is good. i dont feel like i need it that much but i might someday.

so far not sure i really like it lol. it's a bit confusing. somehow i set or it was set to low rumble and i dont change it out of apathy, and an idea that less rumble helps my aiming in destiny 2 crucible, but it's vaguely annoying.

i set the trigger stop to very short. trigger stops were the main feature i wanted. i figure they will help with some rapid fire guns in denstiny 2. not sure if they really do though.

the rechargable battery seems nice though, and i've always railed that disposable cheap aa's are the best option. not so sure anymore, just being able to charge and not need aa's is nice. and the battery life seems long. but if the battery goes eventually i might see the downside.

i'm sure i wont ever mess with all the advanced stuff like stick dead zones/adjusting/whatever. i leave all that on default.

the led xbox button you can change the colors but thats annoying too lol. i put it on some kind of green and quickly grow tired of that, it seems a bit sickly, yet cant be bothered to change it.

Someone recently has gifted me an old PS2 fat. Only the console, a power cable, and an official controller.
I bought a PS2 to HDMI adapted to check if it actually worked with some of the PS2 games I still owned and yes, it's a fully functional PS2, even the disk drive is perfectly fine.
I then decided to mod it make it usable in 2025 by modding it and I now have a modded PS2 with a wireless controller and capable of playing backups from an internal drive.

I bought:
-HDMI adapter €16
-Internal drive adapter €31
-SSD 480GB €33
-FreeMcBoot memory car €26
-A new battery for the internal clock €1,50
-Bluetooth controller adapter €22,50
-DualShock 4 €55
Total spent: €185

Retrogaming is expensive in 2025.

Got Koa And The 5 Pirates on Switch, looks like a fun little 3D platformer.

Weekend pick ups, photo link was not working.

- XCXD
- Atelier Yumia (PS5)
- Bleach rebirth of souls (PS5)
- Patapon
- Daxter, shockingly a sealed copy

What have you folks bought for the Switch 2 launch? Personally I've gone with:
- Mario Kart Bundle (€509,99)
- Official Case and screen protector (€24,99)

I don't feel like I need much else this year as original Switch controllers are still supported and 256 GB should allow me to wait for microSD Express cards to fall in price.

I decided to go full physical (and offline) this gen, so if Switch 2 games keep on being retailed as key cards, I might drastically reduce the number of games I buy in general.

Telemetry? Sending gameplay and purchase details to Nintendo, which will then resell the information to other buyers? To all of that, no, thanks.

I got the following from My Nintendo Store UK: Console, Carrying Case and Gamecube Controller. I wanted to get the console from Amazon UK but no luck since it's unavailable. I think I'll get the Pro Controller from Amazon UK once that's available. I hope the carrying case is good and stores a lot of accessories.

I preordered the Mario Kart Bundle (510).
On day one I plan on also getting a pro controller (90€, looking at Amazon) and 150€ on eshop credit to use for a year of the base online subscription, a voucher for TotK and Prime 4, the upgrade fee for Totk (and in the future Prime 4) and the paid demo

I preordered the Mario Kart Bundle on Amazon UK, so technically as far as games I bought MKW.

I'll be digital only , so will wait until I actually get my Switch 2 to buy the rest of the Switch 2 launch day games I want (Cyberpunk, Yakuza 0, maybe Bravely Default, maybe Hitman), though there are one or two Switch 1 games I'll still buy before that (The Hundred Line and maybe another).
