Ninja Gaiden 4 was just revealed at the Xbox Developer Direct, EA slashes financial guidance, and tons of games announce new sales milestones.

  • Is Ninja Gaiden really that popular these days with so many, many, many Ninja/Samurai games having hit the market since it was last a big deal? What does it bring to the table that is unique?
  • IF Microsoft decided to exit hardware, would Nintendo/Sony allow Game Pass on their hardware?
  • IF Nintendo/Sony allow it on their hardware, is Game Pass still desirable for Microsoft without dedicated hardware or is it better just to sell the individual games?

Ninja Gaiden's got a sort of cult of appeal sort of thing being one of the first IP within that bracket. Now, whether or not a new game is gonna pop off or not is another matter entirely but it is a legacy IP.
