The magnificent Ori series has now sold over 15 million copies

The lovely Metroidvania series continues to succeed years after its last instalment was launched.

Moon Studios head, Thomas Mahler, confirmed the total for the pair of metroidvania titles on twitter with this post.

The Ori series has now sold more than 15 Million copies. Not too shabby for a Metroidvania and a genre we were told is dead when we started to work on it! So thank you to everyone who supported us so far - MUCH LOVE!

Incredibly happy for the Moon team. Originally borrowed my brother's Xbox One just to purchase and play Blind Forest.

Will of the Wisps is one of those "Switchcraft" games that no one gives enough credit to. That Moon ported the sequel to Nintendo's hybrid console at a stable 60 fps is remarkable.
