Hot damn that's a huge launch for FIFA. Unlike the UK, the PS4 SKU is still the top-selling version, and by a huge margin too.

Also, is this the first week ever where Xbox Series has outsold Switch in Spain?

FIFA para Switch has an obscene share of sales for what it is.

I blame Tebas. Surely, it's his fault.

Last year FIFA 22 Legacy Edition share at launch (retail) was only 9%, but by the beginning of the Summer this share had already increased to 25%. Of course if we measured the revenue including digital and the Ultimate Team mode we would find that Switch sku share is practically insignificant. But for the "effort" they put into these games they sell a lot more than they deserve.

A few years too late but imagine if was actual effort into the game like the regular ones

EA at the thought of putting effort into the Switch version of FIFA:

Jesus Christ does even the UK put up FIFA numbers like this? Maybe it's because they're separated by platform and they actually give us the numbers on this chart, so it puts it more into perspective.

First week for FIFA 23 in UK should be around 260k (retail). Before digital blew up FIFA did over 1 million launches in retail in UK.

Edit. Corrected by @awng782 as a 220k.

It doesn't seem to say anywhere in the article which one sold more, just that both are over 4000 units.

Nier Automata The End of YoRHa Edition had a really excellent launch on Switch far exceeding my expectations, in fact it outsold the original launch on PlayStation 4 back in week 10, 2017. Still it will not catch the lifetime sales of what it managed on PlayStation 4 because counting all sku's it is more than 10 times this great 4.000 unit launch.

Hell yeah!
There is definitive evidence to suggest that a release of Replicant would do good numbers too.
