Bamco eating good off of those licensed games, although it's probably off the dollar menu because of how deep the discounts are during sales.

To expand on the price point: currently it costs around €15 physical, it's on sale digitally at €10 regularly on all platforms and a PC key hovers around €7-8.

Its a 5year old game, it constantly being on sale or cheap shouldn't be surprising thats the case for every game outside of few exception AAA exceptions and Nintendo.

The game shouldn't be that far from 1M domestically.

It was at 500k units at retail by the end of 2023. Deluxe Edition on Switch kept selling last year too, plus digital and Steam sales definitely has the game close to 1m in Japan alone.

Quite interesting that Little Nightmares 1 & 2 and My Hero's One's Justice 1 & 2 are combined in sales but most other games aren't.

Because y'know, they could just combine it with Pirate Warriors 3 and claim 5 million!

And to remain on topic - a fantastic result for them, particularly when you look at the last game having sold 1m, which is a pretty standard result for One Piece (UWR, WS) to then explode like this.

This game is going to be the 5m dream that Koei has been looking for years lol.

They did combine all 4 Pirate Warriors games for 8M copies sold.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum'n'Fun - 1 million as of July 2020
I understand that these are only official announcements, but Drum 'n' Fun was at 2.24M as of December 2022 according to CESA.

Thank you. Pirate Warriors 3 and Tales of Zestiria/Berseria have PS3 sales in their totals but I'm just listing modern sales. Everything 3DS and onward.
