Yes those numbers come straight from NPD (Circana), but they are rounded and only use original reported data. So if any of those months got readjusted later, CESA wouldn't report it.

That's really cool, so now we can at least compare the sum of our monthly estimates with the yearly CESA numbers.

So if I calculated correctly, in all of 2021 our monthly prediction game estimates
....underestimated Switch by ~135k
....underestimated PS5 by ~17k
....overestimated Xbox by ~115k.

Nintendo made 2 PR in 2021 so 711K for Switch in October and 1,13M for Switch in November are official numbers.
In the October PR Nintendo also give the OLED number (314k) and Metroid Dread first month (854k) including digital.

Aquamarine also said that Xbox Series sold 1076K in December 2021.
