I calculated the Canadian figures for the period.

Apparently there were some errors in the 2010 data from Famitsu which prevented Canadian sales from being calculated correctly.
And Famitsu didn't publish the corrected numbers so I manually adjusted some 2010 data (red numbers):

• Xbox 360: 7135k => 7531k
• PS3: 4447k => 4744k
• PS2: 728k => 827k

2012 USA and Canada numbers come from the 2013 CESA White Paper.
3DS USA and Canada numbers for 2011 come from another source that use IDG data.
Others USA numbers come either from official NPD data or graphs that Nintendo shared.
Monthly US NPD data for each year are avaible at NPD Archives.

I never realized the X360 was so strong in Canade, even moreso than the US!

Looking at these Nintendo DS canadian numbers I don't think I am wrong if I saïd that Nintendo Switch is currently the best selling system of all time in Canada or only very slighty bellow DS.

Nintendo shipments were aleredy suggesting Switch and DS being closer in Canada than in the US.

Nintendo shipments and these Wii Canadian numbers also suggest that Switch beating Wii in Canada happened few months before the US.

Found the thread on Neogaf and indeed it was the opposite data were revised up and what Famitsu used is very likely original data.

NPD Canada - 2008 Sales Data

This (Link) is the first mention of December sales that I've seen thus far. We now have some actual numbers (Link) instead of just percentages. Updating the totals: 2008: DS - 966k (LTD - 2,290,000) WII - 875.6k (LTD - 1,551,000) 360 - 500k (LTD - 1,195,000) PS3 - 430k (LTD - 740,000)...
