I'm curious how most people landed at their 6.5M estimate for SMPJ? Typically about 20% of sales for a Mario game in their launch year come from Japan. Using that assumption, I was estimating sales were going to be 7.5M-8.0M range. But this game is at 27% of sales in Japan which I was not expecting. Clearly I was wrong and everyone else was largely right but curious how others came to their more accurate estimate

Mario party Superstars shipped 5.43 million in it's 1st quarter and Famitsu sales suggested SMPJ was around 15% stronger.
