It is being led by Gina Joseph as the new CEO with Dean Takahashi as the Editorial Director. GamesBeat will be still be hosting events like GamesBeat Summit and its Next, Global Tour and Games & Hollywood events. The site was originally founded in 2008 with Dean Takahashi.

i bought dean takahashi's book about the xbox ages ago. it was cool to have a book about a console, but tbh i felt the book was terribly written. kept saying the same points over and over. but probably taught me about xbox launch. he must be getting up in yrs, like us all, or at least me. edit: quick google says he's 60.
