These lists show ‘the highest download ranking on the U.S. eShop’, and the number of weeks that the game stayed in the Top 30 of all downloads on Switch. (If the ‘chart weeks’ column has a * by it, the game is still in the Top 30 right now.).
This list is based on weekly rankings
 
Couple things I want to point out here in advance:

1. We actually have the ability to do this ourselves on InstallBase, going all the way back to when the eShop first opened.

2. I've been told by folks on the development side that the Best Sellers list isn't always an accurate representation of how these games are selling. Unfortunately, details are light on this front, but it is something we should keep in mind. There's a high chance that there's some sort of funky mechanism being used to generate the Best Sellers list on the eShop.

That latter point is why I haven't made a big deal out of my own spreadsheet (linked above) or promoted it anywhere. Because it is absolutely the kind of data people would love to sift through... Only, I don't know if it would be accurate.
