Inspired by recent talk in another thread, I though this would be a fun prediction to do, so here we are. Let me preface this with: If you think it is too early to predict this, then feel free not to participate. This is a lighthearted prediction without any severe consequences outside of, duh, having been wrong. ;P

The question is: Do you think that Dragon Quest 12 will release on Switch?

Before you vote, read the options carefully
, because, of course, there's several special circumstances that could happen, based on history with DQ11. Also, for the purpose of the question, it doesn't matter whether "Switch" means Switch 1 or Switch 2, the question is whether it releases on the dominating system in Japan from Nintendo or ignores Nintendo-platforms. Feel free to specify your detailed predictions in a posting in this thread, though! That goes to everyone: Prediction threads are always more fan when you add a little posting to read for others <3

With that said, let's get to it and see how this turns out once Square Enix officially announces platforms!

day one multiplatform on everything. and everything being Switch *insert subtitle here*, PS5, Series, and PC

SE wouldn't want a repeat of 11. it was needlessly expensive. so barring someone dumping money on their stoop, a multiplat release makes the most sense. not to mention, I think this will be a showpiece for stylized UE5 titles, unless Bandai Namco comes out with a Tales game or whatever first

While we appreciate your effort to give context to this thread and to keep the tone light hearted, we believe it's too early at this time for such a discussion, as with the current lack of information, this is likely to just result in people falling back on thier biases and, overall, a poorer discussion
