They had the playable demo’s at yodobashi camera, and a play play play preview, didn’t get a bump from it i checked it the day of also.

Comparing it with those Pikmin and FF it does seem to be tracking well between the two platforms. Both those games didn’t start getting significant bumps until after this point

The Dark Souls games all opened at 200k-250k, something entirely possible for AC6.

Man, Dai not charting anywhere is so disappointing, I hope more of these lower budget action rpg's are being made but I guess this bombing won't be very encouraging.

probably because they suffer from poor release timing and/or middling quality. Trials of Mana did well but it also bucked both of those problems. Dai's problem seems to be that it's very late with the cartoon ending last year and the quality of the game being unknown.

Sure, but seriously, if even cry Machina or whatever can get some numbers, something with dragon quest in the title should be able to beat that, this just show a great disinterest in the genre and that bums me, just that.
