maybe pre-order is not opened, i don't know but even if it is open the game is have zero marketing except the first trailer and it is family game, so it is not that surprising

Pre-orders def. have opened in Japan. That said, the lack of interest so far isn't too surprising, IMO. As you said, Nintendo hasn't promoted it yet outside its initial reveal. Plus, haven't WarioWare games struggled to attract much mainstream attention for a while now? I suspect it'll sell acceptably for what it is, but it'll also be far overshadowed by the other, bigger games hitting Switch the last quarter of this year.

It's a direct sequel to Smooth Moves so you'd think they'd have pretty high expectations for it, but releasing it in one of the busiest parts of the year, with big competition all around (even from Nintendo themselves, since it's sandwiched between Mario Wonder and Mario RPG), seems like a bad idea to me - that's why I think it will only do around the same as GIT, not even getting close to the popularity of Touched and Smooth Moves.
I think it would do better releasing in one of the quieter times in the year - something like earlier this April or August would've been better. (But obviously there's nothing they could do if it wasn't ready)

By the way, I'm talking about worldwide, but it also applies for Japan (even though I expect it to overperform there relative to the rest of the world due to the weaker competition and Nintendo's dominance in the region).
