Developer 91Act has announced the rogue-like spinoff to the BlazBlue franchise, BlazBlue Entropy Effect, has sold over 1 million units globally. To celebrate, the game is getting a new avatar and will be off 22% for the Steam Spring Sale.

Congratulations to the devs. It's funny to see how this non-canon game managed to be a hit to the point of bringing the team back from the depths of near disbandment. The last canon spin-off Blazblue Dark War (regarded as an FGO clone by fans) by ArcSys themselves was a total failure to the point that the series director eventually left to form a Netease funded studio (which is now also in danger of disbanding).
