Unicorn is sold out in the UK, they have two listings for the Switch CE both at 50+ so I decided to report it only once due it possibly being an error but it could likely be at 100+
Both Paper Mario TTYD Remake and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD sold out pretty quickly but they managed to hit 5K+ and 2K+ pre-orders respectively. Pretty decent figures for the former, not as impressive for the latter but understandable given the existence of Luigi's Mansion 3.
It sorta makes sense right? These consoles came out almost 3 and a half years ago and without discounts are more expensive than when they launched. I coulda bought a PS5 in Canada for less money at launch than right now while we are in a cost of living crisis. They need permament price cuts this year. I don't expect consoles to reach the dirt cheap prices of days past but holding price like this is not going to move units without discounts at this point in the generation.

That's very good news! It needed this kind of reception somewhere. I hope Good Feel can turn this into a franchise, there's definitely potential there for an IP slightly bigger than Yoshi.

I'm going to do something that maybe people care about? Since we have both the rankings for the month and the sales for each month, over a long enough period of time we can get very decent near exact sales numbers that aren't just ""6,000" or 10,000-20,000. I'll be doing this every quarter and I'm using the same numbers I've been posting in this thread so you could be doing this yourself.
Certain items never have numbers like gift cards but after figuring out every other item, the unassigned items start slotting in really easy. I'm not estimating the very top of the list because there's nothing to work with, but every item with a number does have something to work with. I also made sure these numbers are consistent in the month-to-month YTD, so the first 90 days ranking with sales don't have discrepancies with the prior 60 days and 30 days.
I'll also be making it a member only view post since this is a lot of work and I want only those in this community to freely view them to discuss. Lurkers can enjoy all the other posts!

xbox continues to have no interest in keeping good stock at amazon. the series x is by a third party seller currently but thats pretty normal.
i dont know if it's incompetence or intentional sabotage (maybe they dont want to sell too much loss leader hardware or something, although that doesnt even make sense). or maybe amazon is the issue not ms.
in contrast ps has mostly had rock solid stock since the shortages eased.
