Breaking things
Hello everyone,

Based on feedback from the last survey (results are still being written up but unfortunately @DarkDetective has been busy lately), we've seen some issues with the old layout and the seperation of topics.

Forum Layout Changes
As part of the feedback, we have reorganised the forum.

Sales and News
The home of threads that revolve around sales and news releases, such as charts, sales milestones, financial reports, market research, but also every sales discussion topics (at the exception of prediction threads)

Official Hangouts and Prediction Groups
This is the place for predictions, official hangouts groups and broad recurring discussions about industry stakeholders.

Prefix
We have created some new prefixes, updated some old ones, and added some to threads. In general we would like all threads to have a prefix, and so going foward we will require all new threads to have a prefix. If you feel they thread you are creating does not fit to any existing category, then please let us know.

Public Threadmarks View
Currently all threads can only be viewed completely by registered (and accepted) users except for the first post of the thread. While we don't think we should allow all posts to be shown publically yet, we have made it so threadmarks will be viewable. Going forward, we want to try and use threadmarks more, and these posts will be viewable to the general public.

Closing Comments
The idea behind these changes is to improve navigation and threads discoverability. As such, rather than having two important browsing subforums, we pivoted toward a model with one main browsing space + another subforum focused on specific use cases.
Please make sure to provide your feedback to us here. We're always open to changes if the community feels we need to do them.

That's cool. Let's track manga sales and maybe dip into game related cinema.
It's come up in discussions and I think we want to move into this in the future. The team has just been a bit busy the last few months so we only just had time to implement these changes.

Just in case no one's noted it yet: The inline spoiler button is now here, thanks to a quick unscheduled update. Thanks, Jay!
